Open Tabloy

Telegram and Slack

Connect once per account. After that, any automation can send its results to your Telegram chat or your Slack direct messages.

Connect Telegram

  1. Open Automations, create or open an automation, and set Destination to Telegram.
  2. Press Connect Telegram. Telegram opens with the Tabloy bot.
  3. Press Start in the bot. Tabloy shows Connected with your Telegram username.

Results arrive as messages from the bot in that chat, with the files attached. The bot does not answer messages you send it: to change a task, edit the automation in Tabloy.

Connect Slack

  1. Set Destination to Slack and press Connect Slack.
  2. Slack asks you to allow the Tabloy app in your workspace. Allow it.
  3. Tabloy shows Connected with the workspace name.

Results arrive as a direct message from the Tabloy app, with the files attached. The app does not answer messages.

Disconnect

Disconnect next to the connection in the automation editor. Automations that used it will fail to deliver until you connect again or change their destination.

One connection, many automations

The connection belongs to your account. Every automation with Telegram or Slack as its destination uses it; there is nothing to set per automation.

If nothing arrives

  • Telegram: make sure you pressed Start in the bot. Without it the bot cannot write to you.
  • Slack: the direct message is from TabloyAI, in the workspace you connected. Check that workspace.
  • Open the automation's Execution Logs. A failed delivery is listed there with the reason.
  • With Notify: Only when there is something new, a quiet run sends nothing by design.
