Share and download
Three ways to get a result out of Tabloy: a link, a public address, or the files.
Share a link
Share in the panel makes a link to the result as it is now. Whoever opens the link sees that snapshot; they need no Tabloy account. Later changes in the chat do not change what the link shows; share again for a new snapshot.
A chat can be shared the same way from its menu in the sidebar: the conversation and its results, read-only.
Publish a site
A website, a web app or a dashboard can live at https://<address>.tabloy.page, updated by you when you choose. That is the way to give something a permanent address. See Publish.
Download
Download in the panel:
| Result | You get |
|---|---|
| Website, web app, dashboard, report page | A zip with the pages, the images and the data. It works from the zip, on any hosting. |
| Slide deck | PPTX |
| Document | DOCX or PDF |
| Spreadsheet | XLSX or CSV |
| A chart or a table under an answer | CSV of the rows behind it |
The files are normal files. Edit them in PowerPoint, Word or Excel, or upload the zip to your own domain.
What viewers see
A shared link and a published site show everything in the result, including data from a dataset or a database if the result was built from one. Check the panel before you share, and share a version without the numbers you do not want out.
Stop sharing
Share again in the panel and remove the link. Published sites: Take offline in the publish window. See Publish.
Local data
The Tabloy app shares dashboards as read-only links and exports Excel and PDF. See Build, export, share.
