Publish

Press Publish and the site goes live at an address of your choice on tabloy.page. No hosting, no setup.

Publish a site

1. Open the site in the panel next to the chat.
2. Press Publish in the panel's top bar.
3. Pick an address. Tabloy suggests one from the site's title; change it if you like.
4. Press Create public URL.

The site is live at https://<address>.tabloy.page within a minute. Anyone with the link can open it; they do not need a Tabloy account.

The address

• Lowercase Latin letters, digits and hyphens, 3 to 40 characters. A hyphen cannot come first or last.
• The form tells you at once whether the address is free, taken or reserved.
• One address per site. You can keep up to 50 sites published at a time.

What becomes public

Everything on the site: every page, every image, and the data it shows if it was built from a dataset or a database. Check the site in the panel before you publish. Changes you make in the chat afterwards stay private until you update.

Update a published site

After you change the site in the chat, the panel says the published copy is behind (Version 4 is public · the chat has version 5). Press Update to publish the newest version. Until then, visitors see the version you published.

Change the address

Change address in the publish window moves the site to a new name. The new address goes live first, then the old one stops working.

Take it offline

Take offline removes the site from its address. The address becomes free for anyone. The site itself stays in your chat; you can publish it again later, at the same address if it is still free.

Deleting the chat or the site takes it offline too.

Your own domain

Publishing works on tabloy.page addresses. For your own domain, download the site as a zip from the panel and upload it to any static hosting. The site works from the zip exactly as it does online. See Share and download.
