Ask anything

Write the way you talk. Tabloy answers in the chat, and follow-up questions keep the context.

Ask

Type in the message box and press Enter. Shift+Enter makes a new line. There is no special syntax: a question, an instruction, a piece of text to rewrite, all work.

Try these requests

Rewrite this email so it sounds friendly but firm

Explain this contract clause in plain words

Compare the pros and cons of leasing vs buying a delivery van

Keep the thread

Ask the next thing in the same chat. Tabloy remembers what was said: "shorter", "now in Spanish", "and for a team of ten" all work without repeating the original request.

Start a New Chat (top of the sidebar) when the topic changes. A fresh chat has no memory of the old one, which is what you want for an unrelated question.

Paste text

Paste an email, a table or a page of notes straight into the message. For anything longer than a screen, attach it as a file instead; see Images and files.

Edit and retry

Hover a message to see its actions:

  • Edit your message and send it again. The answer under it is replaced.
  • Copy the answer.
  • Regenerate to get another answer to the same message.

What the answer looks like

Answers use headings, lists and tables when they help. Code comes in code blocks with a copy button. When you asked for something to be built (a website, a deck, a document), the answer is short and the result opens in the panel next to the chat; see Your first request.

Search your chats

Search in the sidebar finds chats by title and content. Chats are grouped by date. Pin the ones you come back to.
